The Deshpande Symposium is an annual gathering of like-minded professionals focused on accelerating innovation and entrepreneurship within higher education institutions and through partnerships with private, public and non-profit organizations. 

The 2022 symposium was my first time attending and I was honored to have been selected to serve on two panels—on Accounting for the History of Black Entrepreneurship in the Curriculum and Solving the Wicked Problems of Structural Racism through Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education.
